Medicine, Brian
V. Favero
completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University
of Nevada SOM, Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Favero
subsequently completed his Teaching Fellowship in Chemistry at
Creighton University Graduate School.
Currently, Dr. Favero is a Staff
Ophthalmologist at Port Huron Ophthalmology along with Port
Huron Hospital and Mercy Hospital of Port Huron.
In addition to his clinical
appointments, Dr. Favero maintains a number of professional
affiliations. He is an active member of the following:
- American
Academy of Ophthalmology
- American
Medical Association
- Society
of Military Ophthalmologists
- Society
of Air Force Clinical Surgeons
Dr. Favero has done extensive
research on subjects including Organic Photo Chemistry and
Eucaryiotic Protein Initiation. In addition, he completed
a presentation on the Effect of Halogenated Sensitizers on
Stilbene Photoisomerization at the Nebraska Academy of
Science.
